By 2020 The University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering will become a Top 50 engineering program as defined by U.S. News and World Report

Strategic Goals

To reach our goal of becoming a TOP 50 engineering college by 2020, the UH Cullen College will:

  • Increase faculty by 50% to 160 total faculty members
  • Double student enrollment to 8,000 total students (5,600 undergraduate, 2,400 graduate) by 2025
  • Double National Academy of Engineering Members to 20 total
  • Increase industry-sponsored research from 10% to 30% of total research expenditures
