ECE Professor Featured in Methodist Hospital Commercial

ECE professor Jose “Pepe” Luis Contreras-Vidal, director of the University of Houston’s Laboratory for Noninvasive Brain-Machine Interface (BMI) Systems at the Cullen College of Engineering, was featured in a Houston Methodist Hospital commercial demonstrating his brain-controlled robotic exoskeleton which allows paralyzed patients to walk using only the power of their thoughts.
