Criteria for Masters Competitive Scholarships
Departments and the College of Engineering, based on the availability of funds, awards $1,000 competitive recruitment scholarships. These scholarships allow in-state tuition. The criteria used for awarding these scholarships are given below:
Criteria Used for Awarding Competitive Scholarships
- Academic record in undergraduate program, the quality of the undergraduate program, the reputation of the academic institution and any previous other academic experience
- Graduate record examination results
- Letters of recommendation
- Job experience
- Publications
- Research Interests and research statements
- Research Experience
- Journal Publications
- Poster and oral presentation record/evidence
The competitive scholarship can be renewed for a second year for those students with a Cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher based on the availability of funds.
