Mr. Phillip Swanson graduated from the Cullen College with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1986 and currently serves as engineering manager at Oceaneering International. He has 30 years of engineering and management experience within NASA, industry and military programs, during which he has designed space suits, space flight system batteries, communication systems and life support electronics. Phil is a longtime supporter of the Cullen College, giving annual donations, supporting student groups such as ASME and sponsoring Capstone Design Projects through Oceaneering. His most recent gift to the college, a bequest for the UH Cullen College of Engineering, will allow his long legacy of support live on for many years to come.
