Faces in Our Community

I am a UH alumna and I graduated with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in May 2021. I was born and raised in India and I came to the United States in 2017 to pursue my undergraduate education. During my time at UH, I have served in a variety of leadership roles. I worked as an Ambassador for the Program for Mastery in Engineering Studies (PROMES) and a Student Leader for the Women of PROMES program for 3 years. I organized events and seminars for PROMES Scholars for a wide range of topics from graduate school to mental health and racial awareness. I currently serve on the PROMES Advisory Board. I have also worked as a lead teaching assistant in the Cullen College of Engineering for the ENGI 1331 course and helped mentor and assist freshmen students.
