The Engineering Alumni Association is offering its congratulations to the four student organizations that were awarded this year at the Engineering Alumni Association Student Organization Awards in November.

The four organizations awarded this year were the University of Houston student branches of Out in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (oSTEM), the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).

Representatives from groups attending included C.J. Gilmore from oSTEM; Andrew Heideman and Gayathri Lakshmanan from AIAA; Hunter Parratt and Bryan Haro from ASME; and Abigail Lopez from SHPE.

The goal of the EAA is to champion, support and unite the current student body of the Cullen College of Engineering with its alumni, to foster strong connections in both directions. For more information about the organization, visit its website.
