The American Society of Indian Engineers and Architects (ASIE) recently held its Annual Holiday Party, where they awarded scholarships to seven undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Houston's Cullen College of Engineering.
The students won a total of $23,000 in scholarship money. The winners for 2023 from UH, in alphabetical order by last name, are:
- Dipayan Chakraborty, Ph.D., Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
- Sambita Choudhary, Ph.D., Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
- Easham Ijaz, B.S., Mechanical Engineering.
- Jeryl Joseph, B.S., Mechanical Engineering.
- Siddhartha Paul, Ph.D., Civil and Environmental Engineering.
- Nagesh Ramaswamy, Ph.D., Civil and Environmental Engineering.
- Swapnil Sharma, Ph.D., Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
