Julie Trenor, instructional and research assistant professor and director of undergraduate recruitment and retention at the UH Cullen College of Engineering, attended a special candle light vigil last night outside of the UH M.D. Anderson Library in remembrance of Monday's tragedy at Virginia Tech. She is a 2001 Ph.D. Virginia Tech graduate and was a visiting faculty member during the 2003-2004 academic year. Trenor's husband Scott (pictured) also graduated from the university with graduate degrees in 2001 and 2004.
