The Engineering Alumni Awards program was established in 1987 to recognize alumni, faculty and friends of the University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering and the Cullen College Alumni Association for significant contributions to society and the profession. In 2024, the program was reimagined as the Cullen Gala, a biennial celebration that brings the Houston region together. The next celebration will take place in Fall 2026.
