UH Engineering hosted another installment of the Distinguished Rockwell Lecture Series on Friday, February 21 featuring Yi Cui.

Yi Cui is a materials scientist, specializing in nanotechnology, and energy and environment-related research. Cui is a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, and by courtesy, of Chemistry at Stanford University.

Cui’s talk, “Nanomaterials Design for Energy and Environment,” focused on research that addresses problems related to energy conversion, storage and saving, and environment cleaning (air, water and soil).

The Rockwell Distinguished Lecture Series is named for Elizabeth Dennis Rockwell, a UH alumnae, industry expert and philanthropist who passed away in 2011.
