The Engineering Commons was buzzing on Saturday, April 7 as the UH Cullen College welcomed over 100 high school seniors and their families to the New Student Welcome Event.
The event, hosted twice each year in February and April, offers prospective students the opportunity to visit the campus, meet current engineering students and professors, and learn more about the undergraduate engineering degrees offered at the University of Houston through hands-on demonstrations.
While high school students toured labs and met with current engineering students, parents were invited to their own information session covering topics from financial aid and dorms to scholarships and campus life.
