NSBE's 31st Annual Career Fair Draws Companies To UH

The University of Houston chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is hosting their 31st Annual Engineering and Technical Career Fair on Thursday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the University Center Houston Room.

Students majoring in engineering, technology, natural science and mathematics will have opportunities to interact with representatives from over 75 companies and present themselves as prospective employees.

Some of the companies committed this year are posted on the NSBE website, along with more information about the Career Fair.

Companies attending the Career Fair will receive a CD with student resumes. Students can have their resume (Microsoft Word format documents only) included on the CD by emailing it to resumecd [at] uhnsbe.org (resumecd[at]uhnsbe[dot]org). Title the resume in the following manner: "LastName_FirstName_Classification_Major.doc".

NSBE, with 8,000 members nationwide, is one of the largest student-managed organizations in the country. The Society is dedicated to the realization of a better tomorrow through the development of intensive programs for increasing the recruitment, retention and successful graduation of minorities in engineering.
