The UH Energy Industry Crawfish Boil was held on April 19, right outside the engineering facilities on the Houston campus. Around 900 visitors enjoyed a family-friendly festival, bringing alumni, faculty, students and industry professionals together for networking, food and fun. Proceeds supported the multidisciplinary capstone fund that’s designed to increase professional readiness for our engineering and technology students.

More than 450 students presented real-world design projects on three separate campuses in May, in front of their fellow students, faculty and industry partners. These events are a special tradition within the college, giving students the opportunity to share their work, exchange ideas and learn from inspiring speakers and industry professionals. They also allow early-career students to explore projects created by senior students and see where their own academic journey can lead.
