On Thursday, October 3, members of the Cullen College's Engineering Leadership Board gathered at the Petroleum Club of Houston for a reception and dinner. Guests attending the dinner were pleasantly surprised with a speech from University of Houston president Renu Khator, who stressed the vital role the Cullen College of Engineering plays in determining the economic future of Houston.

Chemicals Giant INEOS To Visit With UH Engineering Students

At the University of Houston, the Tau Beta Pi -Texas Epsilon Chapter (TX-E) was established in 1962.

The UH chapter of Tau Beta Pi – Texas Epsilon (TBP) is hosting an information session with representatives of INEOS, Europe’s largest petrochemical company, on Wednesday, February 27, in the Science and Research Building 1 on campus. The presenters will be Bob Sokol, chief financial officer of INEOS Oligomers and Oxide, and Fred Rulander, chief operating officer of INEOS Oxide North America.

Distinguished Alumnus, Bilfinger Executive to be UH Cullen College Fall 2018 Commencement Speaker

Terrance “Terri” Ivers, P.E. (BSME ’80) is the fall 2018 UH Cullen College of Engineering commencement speaker.

Terrance “Terri” Ivers, P.E. (BSME ’80), is coming home to the UH Cullen College of Engineering as the featured speaker at its commencement on Dec. 13 at the NRG Arena. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from UH in 1980 and has remained involved in the Cullen College community throughout the course of his 37 year-long career.
