According to the Texas Workforce Commission’s 2025 Labor Market Outlook, engineering and technical employment is projected to grow 13.2% between 2023 and 2033, adding nearly 47,000 engineering-related jobs statewide. Graduates will be well positioned for careers in high-demand fields, including software development, data science, systems, industrial, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, where projected job growth ranges from 9% to 43% and median annual salaries range from $97,000 to $118,000.
