He started his career in 1968 at BASF Corporation’s Freeport, Texas site. He retired as a Senior Vice President in 2005. His 37+ year career at BASF included serving 12 years as the General Manager of the Freeport site.
Education
Singhania has a degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (IIT, Bombay), Master’s degree in Chemical engineering (University of Illinois), Ph.D. work (University of Houston), and Executive MBA (Rice University).

Personal
He serves as Port Freeport Commissioner, Brazosport College Foundation Board, Brazosport Rotary Club, advisory Board of CHI St. Luke’s Brazosport Hospital, and teaches an economics class. He enjoys tennis, pickle ball, playing cards, walking, family travels, and spending time with his family, particularly his two grandchildren.
