April Feick (’97)

Vice President, Supply Chain, ExxonMobil

April is Vice President of ExxonMobil’s Supply Chain organization, overseeing nearly 400 employees worldwide, responsible for ensuring end to end operations excellence for equipment, wells, maintenance and raw materials at the lowest total cycle cost, supporting over 16B$/yr spend across the Corporation. Appointed as the first to hold this role, April has been instrumental in shaping ExxonMobil’s Supply Chain organization, established in 2023, which now rivals global industry leaders in the scale of products stored and transported around the world.

Prior to her role in Supply Chain, April has had a variety of roles and experiences globally across ExxonMobil’s manufacturing and Corporate departments since her start at ExxonMobil in 1997. She was executive advisor to the Chairman, leading the effort to revamp ExxonMobil’s culture and career development and then was a key player in the reorganization of ExxonMobil to capture the company’s scale and integration, including the creation of functional organizations such as the aforementioned Supply Chain organization.

April has lived in various locations throughout the United States and spent time in Europe as the European Director of Manufacturing and plant manager at the Fawley refinery. She spent many of her early years of her career in Baytown at the Baytown Olefins Plant, including an internship during her studies at University of Houston.

April graduated from University of Houston with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1997 with Honors. While a student, Feick was president of the Honors Student Governing Board, a senator for the Cullen College of Engineering, a UH ambassador, and the 1996 Homecoming Queen. She has maintained a strong connection with University of Houston, specifically the Honors College, as a frequent participant in the Great Conversation, the Honors College’s signature scholarship fundraiser. She was the keynote speaker of the 42nd fall convocation in 2019. She has been involved in the Women in Engineering Events with Cynthia Oliver Coleman, P.E. and is a strong advocate for women in Engineering. April is a Cougar football season ticket holder.

In addition to her professional achievements, Feick enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She has a son who is a Junior at Bauer studying business, a son who is a Freshman at Cullen studying Chemical engineering, and a daughter in high school. April and her husband go to almost every University of Houston football game.
