Professor Xingpeng Li Recognized as ‘Emerging Leader’ for Contributions to Offshore Power Systems and Security

University of Houston energy experts will be front and center at the 2023 Offshore Technology Conference on May 1–4.

Founded in 1969, OTC is the world’s premier offshore energy event. Held annually in Houston, the conference is focused on offshore resources, knowledge sharing and environmental matters.

Xingpeng Li, UH assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, will be recognized as a 2023 Emerging Leader – one of nine honorees and the only one from an academic institution – during a special ceremony on Tuesday, May 2 at NRG Center.

Several UH faculty, staff and students will be participating in specialized sessions and adding their expertise to the conversation. Below is a schedule of sessions featuring UH participants:
