2016 Engineering Alumni Association Annual Meeting

Every year, the Engineering Alumni Association (EAA) hosts a networking social to bring alumni together and foster camaraderie within the UH engineering community. This year the meeting took place on August 18 at Saint Arnold’s Brewing Company.

Attendees enjoyed free barbeque, craft beer, raffle prizes and updates about the Cullen College throughout the evening. Students from the Society for Automotive Engineers (SAE) and UH Energy Coalition also had displays with information about their current projects and initiatives. Daniel Gray, the program director for the UH Alumni Association, kicked off the event with opening remarks. Other speakers included Russell Dunlavy, chief advancement officer at the Cullen College, and Jorge Villalta, the EAA’s president elect.

The EAA’s mission is to champion, support and unite the UH Cullen College of Engineering, its students and its alumni. Find out more about the EAA online and view photos from the event here!
