At the Cullen College of Engineering, the arrival of spring serves as a reminder of the upcoming UH Engineering Golf Tournament. This year, the 26th annual tournament will tee off on April 6 at The Woodlands Tournament Course.

This year’s tournament is possible thanks to Title Sponsors Judy (J.D. ’89) and Mark (’84) Cook. The tournament serves as one of the college’s primary annual fundraisers, raising thousands to directly benefit the college and its students. Players can compete in a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Jim Chambers, the winner of which will go home with a new Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Additionally, participants affiliated with the university can play for a spot on the coveted Dean’s Cup, which is displayed in the Dean’s Office. At the end of the tournament, the leading engineering department will be awarded $1,000 of discretionary funds. Dinner, cash bar and door prizes are also included in the event.

To register for this year’s tournament, download the electronic brochure and return the completed form to the Cullen College of Engineering by March 28.
