UH Moment Spotlights Professor's Melanoma Research

The University of Houston’s weekly “UH Moment” broadcast on KUHF and KUHT recently featured Dr. Navin Varadarajan, assistant professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at the UH Cullen College of Engineering. Specifically, the segment focused on Varadarajan’s research regarding melanoma treatment options found to be viable for even stage-3 and stage-4 cancers.

Varadarajan’s adoptive cell therapy research is being supported through a Melanoma Research Alliance grant. He is researching the success of inserting cancer-immune cells into tumor cells. Watch the “UH Moment” segment here.
