Friday's commencement ceremony to be streamed live online

The University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering and Bauer College of Business graduating students will accept their diplomas at this semester’s commencement ceremony on Friday, December 20 at 7 p.m.

The ceremony will take place on the UH main campus in Hofheinz Pavilion with doors opening to guests at 6 p.m. For those guests unable to make it to the physical ceremony, UH will also broadcast the ceremony online here. The webcast will be live at 6 p.m. and cover the entire commencement ceremony. Archived videos of past commencement ceremonies are also available to be viewed here.

At the University of Houston, the Tau Beta Pi -Texas Epsilon Chapter (TX-E) was established in 1962.

The UH chapter of Tau Beta Pi – Texas Epsilon (TBP) is hosting an information session with representatives of INEOS, Europe’s largest petrochemical company, on Wednesday, February 27, in the Science and Research Building 1 on campus. The presenters will be Bob Sokol, chief financial officer of INEOS Oligomers and Oxide, and Fred Rulander, chief operating officer of INEOS Oxide North America.

Distinguished Alumnus, Bilfinger Executive to be UH Cullen College Fall 2018 Commencement Speaker

Terrance “Terri” Ivers, P.E. (BSME ’80) is the fall 2018 UH Cullen College of Engineering commencement speaker.

Terrance “Terri” Ivers, P.E. (BSME ’80), is coming home to the UH Cullen College of Engineering as the featured speaker at its commencement on Dec. 13 at the NRG Arena. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from UH in 1980 and has remained involved in the Cullen College community throughout the course of his 37 year-long career.
