UH Neuro-Engineering Research Hitting High Gear

About 1 in 5 adults suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. That number is even greater when other forms of neurological disorders are taken into account. UH engineers are responding to the problem by crafting a new generation of diagnostic tools and devices to provide vastly improved treatments of mental illness and other neurological disorders.
