Celebrating Innovation, Creativity, and Student Achievement Across Cullen College
Create@UH is a program designed to enhance the experience for undergraduate students working on course-based projects. It provides students with real-world design opportunities, along with the space and equipment needed to bring their ideas to life.
Each semester, the Cullen College of Engineering brings together students, faculty and industry partners for showcase events that celebrate undergraduate creativity, research, and design.
These events are a special tradition within the college, giving students the opportunity to share their work, exchange ideas and learn from inspiring speakers and industry professionals. They also allow early-career students to explore projects created by senior students and see where their own academic journey can lead.
Together, Create@UH showcase events highlight the innovative spirit that defines engineering at the University of Houston.
Create@UH showcase events take place across multiple campuses each semester, bringing together students from throughout the college. These events are open to all engineering undergraduate students (all majors in the Cullen College of Engineering).
Main Campus
Create@UH Showcase & National Academy of Engineering (NAE) Grand Challenges Summit
Hosted on the main campus, this event combines the Create@UH Showcase with the NAE Grand Challenges Summit, where students present innovative solutions addressing some of the world’s most pressing engineering challenges. Learn more about the NAE Grand Challenges Scholar Program.
