The Cullen College of Engineering’s Industrial Engineering Department is now the Industrial & Systems Engineering Department, reflecting its expanded focus on complex, integrated systems. Professor and Endowed Chair Gino J. Lim emphasized the department’s role in training skilled professionals, citing the success of the B.S. in Systems Engineering program, which launched in 2020.
