Haleh Ardebili Named A Fellow of the Society of Engineering Science (SES)

The SES Fellow honor is highly selective and recognizes members of the society “who have contributed significantly to the activities of the SES and who have had a major impact on the advance of the engineering sciences by independent, original research or who have rendered some other exceptional service to the cause of the sciences.” Haleh Ardebili will be officially recognized at the annual SES meeting in October 2023 in Minneapolis.

2023 Cullen College Outstanding Senior- IE’s Elizabeth Richardson

Elizabeth Richardson’s success in the classroom while studying Industrial Engineering has led her to being on the Dean's List since she enrolled in the Fall of 2019. But unlike some of her peers, Richardson has done this while having a grueling, physical schedule outside of the classroom as well. Richardson has been a member of the Division I Swimming & Diving team for all four years, and has won six straight American Athletic Conference titles through 2022.

2023 Cullen College Outstanding Junior- ME’s Jakob Lee

Juggling assignments and managing responsibilities isn't anything new for Jakob Lee, the Outstanding Junior at the Cullen College of Engineering for 2022-23. Lee is the owner and operator of Surfside Beach Lawn Service in July 2020. The business services more than 200 commercial and residential properties, and Lee manages three employees.
