Richard Willson and a team of UH researchers are using glow-in-the-dark materials to enhance and improve rapid COVID-19 home tests.

Xiaonan Shan leads a team of UH researchers, in collaboration with researchers from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, has developed an operando reflection interference microscope (RIM) that provides a better understanding of how batteries work, which has significant implications for the next generation of batteries.

Pietro Millio has received a $200,000 grant from NASA for assessing their Commercial Smallsat Data Acquisition Program. The team will evaluate the potential impact spaceborn synthetic aperture radar constellations may have in advancing Earth System Science and applications development for societal benefit.
