Daniel Wong

Daniel Wong, CEO of Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. and an alum of the Cullen College of Engineering, has been selected by the Houston Business Journal as one of 45 honorees in the fifth-annual Most Admired CEO Awards.
Navin Varadarajan

Navin Varadarajan is testing a new type of immunotherapy which will potentially help in treating lymphoma.

STEM

A team of researchers from UH and the University of Michigan will use an additional grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to further their collaborative research into improving underrepresented student engagement in STEM.
Jeffrey Rimer

Jeffrey Rimer has published a review in the Nature Synthesis summarizing methods of making zeolites in the lab. The review examines how the emergence of data analytics and machine learning are aiding zeolite design.
Jose Luis Contreras-Vidal

Jose Luis Contreras-Vidal will use a $768,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health to support the development of highly specialized technical skills to study the brain with emergent technologies.

The University of Houston's IISE student group has earned the Gold Chapter Award for its performance during the 2021–22 academic year.

Hussain Sayed received the 2022 Joseph John Suozzi INTELEC® Fellowship Award in Power Electronics to study the health status and reliability of individual power converters used in data centers.
