COVID-19 UPDATES

COVID-19 UPDATES

President Khator has issued a mandatory face covering policy for individuals on the UH campus. You may read the policy in its entirety online here.

All members of our community should familiarize themselves with the official positive case protocols, which may be accessed on the university’s COVID-19 webpage, here. Questions should be directed to the University of Houston's official COVID-19 Response Coordinator at covid19coordinator@uh.edu.

OUR COMMITMENT TO RACIAL EQUALITY

Taking Action in Unity
In June, the Cullen College issued a statement regarding the college’s commitment to racial equality in response to the extensive pain and suffering endured by the Black community in recent weeks. It is not enough to condemn these heinous acts of violence and hate seen much too often in our society. We must look for ways we can incite meaningful change. The Cullen College will join forces with our colleagues across campus in the formation of a University-wide Race Relations and Social Justice group. UH Engineering Dean Joseph W. Tedesco, along with Drs. Jerrod Henderson and Debora Rodrigues, have been named members of this task force and will serve as thought-leaders in this ever-important initiative.
