The UH Cullen College of Engineering will kick off the spring season with its 25th annual Golf Tournament on April 7 at Sienna Lakes Plantation golf course in Missouri City.
The tournament, sponsored by LJA Engineering, serves as one of the primary annual fundraisers for the Cullen College and regularly attracts more than 100 players each year. Players can compete in a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Jim Chambers, the winner of which will go home with a new Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Additionally, participants affiliated with the university can play for a spot on the coveted Dean’s Cup, which is displayed in the Dean’s Office. In addition, $1,000 of discretionary funds will be awarded to the winning department. Dinner, cash bar and door prizes are also included in the event.
