Three staff members from the Cullen College of Engineering were recently elected to the University of Houston Staff Council. Stella Vasquez, Administrative Assistant to the Dean, and Allyson Plosko, Initiative and Outreach Officer in the biomedical engineering department, were both chosen as representatives in the Staff Council Division of Academic Affairs. Pamela Moses, Financial Assistant 2 in the chemical and biomolecular engineering department, was elected as an at-large representative.
The University of Houston Staff Council is an advisory body to the President of the University and the University administration. Staff Council consists of elected staff members from each division who represent the entire staff body. Elections were held online in late July and representatives were voted on by staff members across UH.
