Academy of Distinguished Civil & Environmental Engineers Induction Ceremony

On Thursday, May 1, the UH Cullen College of Engineering's department of civil and environmental engineering inducted two new members into their prestigious Academy of Distinguished Civil and Environmental Engineers. Photos from the induction ceremony and dinner at the Hess Club in Houston are available here.

Joe Zimmerman, vice president of Klotz & Associates, and David Collins, senior civil engineering at FCM Engineers, were the latest inductees into the academy.

The goals of the academy are to help the University of Houston achieve national prominence in civil and environmental engineering education; to strengthen students' understanding of the engineering profession through personal and professional example; to provide organized assistance and advisory guidance to the department chair, faculty and students; and to improve the educational experience for all students.
