A $51 million construction project at UH for a new Science, Engineering and Classroon building – which will provide a pedestrian “gateway” to the west side of campus – was approved at a specially called meeting of the UH System Board of Regents. The 200,000-square foot facility will consist of 11 classrooms, a 550-seat teaching theater, and science and engineering research labs.
