Cullen College's Doctorate Programs Among the Best in Texas
The National Research Council’s recently published rankings of Ph.D. programs puts the University of Houston’s Cullen College of Engineering well ahead of its counterparts at the state’s six other emerging research universities –Texas Tech University, the University of North Texas, the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of Texas at Dallas, the University of Texas at El Paso and the University of Texas at San Antonio. Health and Biomedical Sciences Center Breaks Ground at UH
UH’s new Health and Biomedical Sciences Center (HBSC), which broke ground earlier this month, will bring together investigators from different colleges and departments in a first-class research facility dedicated to clinical, educational and interdisciplinary research to facilitate collaboration across neuropsychology and neuroscience, measurement and statistics, biology and biochemistry, biomedical engineering, pharmacy, optometry, computer science and computational physiology. Engineering Students Showcase Work at Undergraduate Research Day
UH celebrated the work of more than a dozen Cullen College students, along with many more from across UH, at the 6th Annual Undergraduate Research Day in October. Hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research and The Honors College, the event gives students the opportunity to showcase to the entire UH community their efforts to make real, substantive contributions to their disciplines.
