About Me

Immediately after receiving my engineering degree, I began a career with Cameron (now Schlumberger) in Houston where I have spent nearly two decades engineering integrated solutions, products, systems, and services for the oil and gas industry. This included a 2.5-year expatriate assignment in Malaysia for a subsea project.  I have also served in various leadership roles for the ASME South Texas Section, NSBE Houston Professionals, and the University of Houston Engineering Alumni Association. I have been a licensed engineer in the State of Texas since 2009. In 2015, I was named the Distinguished Young Engineering Alumnus by the Engineering Alumni Association.

I am also the founder of Professional Plus, LLC which I created to help young professionals and aspiring professionals become Professional Plus. I do this through sharing my personal experiences and offering researched-based advice on careers, professional development, leadership, and mentorship via my blog and newsletter.
