About Me

I transferred to the University of Houston in Fall 2020 from the University of Arkansas. I am an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Engineering and plan on doing the Neural, Cognitive, & Rehabilitation Track. I’m currently in Massachusetts as a summer intern at Boston Scientific in their R&D department. Ever since I came to UH, I have been mentored by Ms. Carter and she has helped me develop professionally, and so h as the Program for Mastery in Engineering Studies (PROMES). I decided to become a PROMES Ambassador and Student Success Advisory Board member to give back to the community. Outside of my classes, I became an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for ENGI 1331 this past semester because I enjoy coding in MATLAB and helping students understand the concepts it, as well as problem-solving. I am involved with the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). In my free time, I enjoy playing videogames, working out, and spending time with friends.
