About Me

I am the Program Manager of the Materials Science and Engineering Program in the William A. Brookshire Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Houston.  I work with faculty and graduate students to create successful pathways in order to matriculate through the Materials Science Engineering program. These pathways are created by meticulously developing policies and procedures, creating new scholarships and collaborating with engineering industry personnel.

I also, synergize with multiple undergraduate programs across campus to ensure UH students can successfully transition from undergraduate to graduate careers in engineering.  My research background is in the area of higher education retention and equipping others to understand support for FGCS.  Most of the student’s in engineering are considered FGCS and they need assistance in navigating the higher educational platform to achieve degree completion. In short, I construct pathways of educational success for the Cullen College of Engineering Students.
