Student ResearchNSF-Research Experience for Undergraduates Christiana Chang Christiana took part in the Summer 2007 NSF Nanotechnology REU at the University of Houston. This 10-week program allows engineering students from across America to study different aspects of nanotechnology from a research perspective. The program emphasizes the importance of research and experimentation in furthering scientific endeavors and the importance of diversity in learning. The projects featured are based in various fields of study, with implications for medical, mechanical, electrical, and computer applications. Students complete a technical report and presentation at the conclusion of the program.
