The University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering (CCE) will conduct a Summer 2013 research program for undergraduate students. The program is designed to infuse qualified undergraduates with enthusiasm toward both graduate level education and a career in research. Participants will make important contributions to the College's ongoing research efforts.

Basic Application Requirements
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status
- Completed application received by deadline
- Completed letter of recommendation received by deadline
- Current transcript or transcripts received by deadline
- Have a 3.0 GPA out of a 4.0 GPA scale
Application Deadline
March 22, 2013
We highly recommend sending all application materials at least two weeks prior to the deadline. Since complete applications will be reviewed on a first-come-first-served basis, there could be some benefit in sending in application materials early.
Each complete application packet will be acknowledged, and all applicants will be notified in April as to their status.
Stipend
$5,000.00
Students with residence from outside the Greater Houston area will receive a travel allowance to offset transportation costs. All participants will stay on campus in an apartment (paid for through the REU program).
