(July 5, 2001) The UH Cullen College of Engineering launched a new web design today. The site, which includes a rollover menu with quick links for enhanced usability, was produced by the college's Office of Communications. Visit the college's redesigned site.

(July 2, 2001) UH Cullen College of Engineering dean Raymond Flumerfelt named Professor Cumaraswamy "Vipu" Vipulanandan as the new permanent chair for the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, effective September 1.

(July 2, 2001) "Monuments, Mills and Missile Sites: 30 Years of the HAER," a Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) traveling exhibit, will be on display at UH from July 13 to Oct. 10, 2001, in the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture. The exhibit is visiting cities around the United States through arrangements with the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
A lecture series will kick off the exhibit's Houston debut on July 12 at 6:30 p.m.

(June 6, 2001) The Engineering Alumni Association gathered on June 6 to recognize alumni, faculty and friends of the UH Cullen College of Engineering for significant contributions to society and the profession. See wh
