(February 26, 2002) The UH Cullen College of Engineering gave the highest contributions on campus for the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC). This is the second year in a row that the college received this honor for faculty and staff contributions.

(February 26, 2002) UH engineering alumni Peter Borsack and LeAnne Napolillo were named 2002 Young Engineers of the Year by the Society of American Military Engineers-Houston and American Society of Civil Engineers-Houston, respectively.

(February 18, 2002) As part of National Engineers Week's salute to women, Engines of Our Ingenuity presents a special educational resource for searching Women in Science, Technology & the Life of the Mind from 1,687

(February 14, 2002) The UH Cullen College of Engineering will play host to the 14th annual ASME/UH Cajun Crawfish Boil, the kick-off event for the Offshore Technology Conference, on May 5.

The Engineering Alumni Association (EAA) is still accepting nominations through Feb. 27 for the Distinguished Engineering Faculty Award. They will be honored along with other alumni at the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Awards Dinner on Friday, June 7 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Downtown Houston.
