NEW PROGRAM BOOSTS UH ENGINEERING STUDENTS' BUSINESS SAVVY
A new program developed by the UH Cullen College of Engineering will prepare graduates to be more successful when assuming leadership roles in their companies and facing real-world business challenges. The new Engineering Leadership and Entrepreneurism Program was launched this month as a pilot program with 25 students. The new program is one of only a handful of its kind in the country, and represents a recent trend toward incorporating business concepts in engineering programs. Full story...

EAA MINUTES ARE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
Ever wanted to know what goes on in an Engineering Alumni Association board meeting? Keep informed by reading the monthly minutes.

HELP UH HAVE A VOICE IN AUSTIN - FEB. 18
Give UH a strong voice by joining the Houston Alumni Organization on the bus trip to Austin for UH Day in Austin. Meet at 7am at the UH Athletics/Alumni Center and learn everything you need to know to talk to legislators about UH issues. After hitting the Senate Chambers and meeting with legislators (you'll be with a team of other UH alumni), there will be a reception that evening to celebrate the success. Buses will arrive back at UH around 10:30pm. For details or to sign-up, visit the Cougar Advocates for Texas website.
