UH Engineering Communicators Receive Awards for Recruitment Brochure, Magazine and Website
(June 30, 2003) The UH Cullen College of Engineering's Office of Communications recently received 11 recognition awards for the college's recruitment brochure, magazine, website and other materials.

Photographer Joins Engineering Communications Department
(June 30, 2003) The UH Cullen College of Engineering has added photographer Jeffrey Shaw to its staff. Shaw joins the college’s Office of Communications, filling a new position designed to provide full-time photography and video capabilities to the staff.

Engineering Student Prepares for Career in Pharmaceuticals Industry

The study of drugs and their chemical properties provided her with inspiration. As a chemical engineering research lab assistant, she discovered a desire to work in the pharmaceuticals industry.

GRADE Camp Offers High School Girls A Peek Into The World Of Engineering
(June 2, 2003) A new camp designed to draw high school girls into the world of engineering is being launched this summer at the UH Cullen College of Engineering. GRADE Camp (Girls Reaching and Demonstrating Excellence in Engineering) is an innovative, challenging day camp designed to introduce high school girls to the marvels of engineering. There will be two one-week camps held this summer, June 9-13 and June 16-20.
