First Test Vehicle Arrives at College's New Diesel Emissions Lab

UH Engineering Alumnus Lends Expertise to Small Entrepreneurial Businesses
(March 24, 2004) Michael A. Ervin (1966 BSChE, 1969 MSChE, 1970 PhD ChE) began a 21-year tenure at DuPont in positions ranging from research engineer to vice president of R&D, and his journey took him to Europe and all across the United States. Now, Ervin, eager for a change of pace, has settled down in Austin, Texas, to get involved in a small company.

Helping Girl Engineers Make the GRADE
(March 12, 2004) A camp custom-made for high school girls who aspire to one day become engineers, the GRADE Camp, hosted by the UH Cullen College of Engineering, is a weeklong day camp designed to introduce participants to the marvels of engineering. Nearly four dozen high school students from around the Houston area converged on campus for last year’s camp. This year’s deadline for applications is April 1.

UH Engineering Alumnus to Receive National Teaching Award
