Herrera, Bernatek Named Outstanding Senior, Junior
(February 25, 2004) Senior Eduardo Herrera and junior Dorota Bernatek have been named this year’s Outstanding Senior and Junior at the UH Cullen College of Engineering. Both students will be recognized Feb. 25 at the Engineers Week Student Luncheon.

Engineering Student Performs at Super Bowl

Engineering Lab Supervisor Retires After 20 Years of Service
(February 16, 2004) After 20 years of distinguished service with the Cullen College of Engineering, Laboratory Supervisor Martin Kowis has retired. Kowis, who spent 21 years with the FMC Corporation before coming to UH, came to work for the university in 1984 along with his wife Diana.

Seagate Technology Donates Magnetometer System to Center for Nanomagnetic Systems
(February 11, 2004) Dmitri Litvinov, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, is one of many UH engineering faculty and students who will benefit from the recent donation of a state-of-the-art LakeShore Vibrating Sample Magnetometer system to the UH Cullen College of Engineering.
