M.D. Anderson Endowed Professorship (ECE)

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) invites applications from exceptional candidates for an endowed position at the level of Full professor. This position is open to applicants in all areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research is applicable to Healthcare and Energy. Houston is a major hub of energy related industries and research. It is also home to the world’s largest medical complex—the Texas Medical Center. Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. degree. Successful applicants will have an exceptional record of externally funded research, peer-reviewed publications, technology translation, ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams, and instructional innovation. The department is undergoing an exciting period of research growth driven by rising research expenditures, NRC rankings, a Carnegie Tier 1 status, and growing linkages with the energy industry and the medical center.
