» During the Fall and Spring semesters, approximately 600 undergraduate students are enrolled in the ECE department at UH.

Undergraduate electrical and computer engineering students complete:
• 25 semester hours in math, physics, chemistry;
• 70 semester hours in electrical engineering;
• 38 semester hours of core curriculum designed to provide a strong liberal education essential
    in an educated person.
 
Students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering may choose between...
• The EE option, which provides breadth in several of the many areas of EE, and
• The Computer option, which offers specialization in computers within the framework of an
    Electrical Engineering degree.
