Courses

ECE 5346/6366: PHYSICAL DESIGN VLSI CTS (Prof. Dr. Charlson, E. J.)

Details: Fundamentals of integrated circuit design; computer-aided-design methods; MOS, GaAs and bipolar technologies; standard cells; digital subsystem layout and design; inverter design; gate level design approximations.

ECE 5397/6397: CMOS ANALOG INTEGRATED CIRCUIT (Prof. Dr. Pai, David M.)

Details: The subject of this course is the analysis and design of CMOS Analog Integrated Circuits at the transistor level. The course begins with a review of DC and AC properties of single-stage and multi-stage amplifiers, followed by the study of differntial pairs, current source biasing circuits, and current mirrors, leading to a study of Operational Amplifiers design.

Note: Both the courses have Blackboard access.
