Dr. Chen received a D.Sc. in electrical engineering, M.S. in computer science, and M.S. in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2003, 1998 and 1997, respectively. She also received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Fudan University in 1995. Previously, she was a research associate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis.
