History

The UH Cognitive Science Initiative was founded in 1996 by a group of faculty led by Dr. Anne Jacobson, who was the founding director, as a structure for responding to the emerging area of cognitive science and to encourage connections across departments and colleges. It became a center named Center for Neuro-Engineering and Cognitive Science in XXXX.
